This privacy statement explains how Dias Imela Logistics handles personal data that you provide to us, for example when you contact us by telephone or email.

This English version is provided for convenience and understanding. In the event of any discrepancy or difference in interpretation, the Dutch version prevails.

Depending on your contact with us, we may process your name, company name, telephone number, email address, address details and information required to handle a transport request, cooperation, agreement or administrative enquiry.

Why do we process personal data?

We process personal data to answer questions and contact requests, prepare quotations and agreements, perform transport assignments, communicate with customers, clients and business relations, handle invoicing and financial administration, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal basis

We process personal data where this is necessary to perform a contract or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We may also process data where this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or where Dias Imela Logistics has a legitimate business interest, for example in business communication and administration.

Retention periods

We do not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Data that forms part of our tax administration is retained for the statutory retention period. Other correspondence and personal data is deleted when it is no longer required for our services or business operations.
